Salesforce is a massive part of the BT Enterprise IT architecture. As a Sales Cloud developer for Communication plateform you will work across various areas of Sales and Communications Clouds to deliver solutions that support the BT Enterprise business unit.

What you’ll be doing

As a developer in an wider Agile team, you will

• Work with product owners to design and build solutions across Sales and Communication Cloud solutions

• Ensure that solutions provided are delivered on time

• Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices and guardrails both functionally and non-functionally

• Document solutions to the required standard

• Create automated tests for developed solutions

• Review own and peers’ outputs to identify and flag errors or potential issues. Leading on technical investigations to troubleshoot issues.

• Provide test, release and in life developer support

• Follow Dev Ops processes for code and release management

• Influence the evolution of best practices and guardrails through own personal experience and learnings

Skills and Experience required

• Experience of working as part of an Agile team

• Minimum of 3 years development experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud covering full software development lifecycle

• Integration knowledge with Salesforce.com components including but not limited to API s, APEX Web Services, Apex Callouts, outbound messaging, SSO, and data loaders

• Minimum 2 years development experience on the core Salesforce Communications Cloud products covering full software development lifecycle

• Experience across these specific Communications Cloud products (previously known as Vlocity). EPC, CPQ, OM, ESM

• Knowledge of modern browser and Internet technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, JavaScript libraries and more is desired

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working across multiple locations and time zones

• Some or all of the following certifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator

• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

• Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer

• Salesforce Certified Industries CPQ Developer

• Experience working with Experience Cloud is desirable

• An understanding of and experience using DevOps tooling in as part of a large Salesforce Communications Cloud project is desirable
