About this role
The goal of this role is to work with the broader Employee Experience (EX) team to create and embed the employee experience vision. Using expertise, knowledge, insights and strong relationships you will then partner with the business, sometimes via small ad-hoc projects and sometimes via major transformation programmes, to bring this employee experience to life through improved ways of working, processes and technology. This role will employ creativity and strong influencing skills to capture our colleagues’ imagination and ensure they are as excited as we are about our employee experience transformation journey.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Acts as an ambassador for employee experience across HR
Models the right behaviour by applying and adhering to BT EX standards, framework and toolkit
Champions and leads with a human-centred design thinking approach
Works closely with the Senior Manager, EX and the wider EX CoE to build and embed an EX foundation across the business
As needed, leads and/or supports with user journey creation, user story creation and ongoing EX research and design activity
Responsible for working with the business on strategic projects to enhance their use, adoption and knowledge of employee experience
Consults and informs key senior stakeholders (e.g. Global Process Owners, Product Owners, HR Operations, Technology, transformation programmes) sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver the expected employee experience
Keeps up to date with external EX trends and developments and applies continuous thought-leadership to the way we approach EX in BT
You'll have the following skills & experience
Research and analytics: experience of collecting and using employee/user feedback in an improvement programme
Human-centred design thinking methodologies and application, ensuring that the Human Experience Management (HXM) system remains relevant and connected to business performance
Using EX tools & methodologies (e.g. personas) to drive design
Experience leading in change and transformation projects with complex matrix team working and diverse stakeholders
Facilitation of workshops & training sessions, including in a virtual setting.
Communicating with and presenting to diverse audiences on a range of topics
A general understanding of HR - processes and systems
Comfortable working with ambiguity; being creative and resilient as we shape our EX approach
