About this role

To sell Global Wholesale Voice product and service portfolio of Global IP Exchange (GIPX), ITFS and others as advised.

Maximise Gross Margin by selling at the highest possible price with the optimal level of Service, and use weekly Pricing were necessary to win incremental business or retain existing business that is under threat.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Maximising business by combining acquired market knowledge with an understanding of customer targets and requirements.

  • Monitor revenues and margins by customer on a daily basis and take immediate action when business is declining, or loss is shown on daily margin report.

  • Maintain a close working relationship with key customers (including a multi contact strategy, where appropriate).

  • Use account intelligence and market insights to forecast for our customers

  • Prepare monthly customer price lists via the internal system and issue weekly price changes when necessary and hold opportunity review discussions with allocated customers.

  • Monitor monthly Revenue and Gross Margin achievements and ensure that Sales Development plans identify how annual targets will be reached.

  • Manage the Buying process with the assigned accounts

  • Secure the lowest per minute cost at the required quality level.

  • Attend when required industry events.

You'll have the following skills and experience

  • Several years of sales experience in an International Telecommunication environment.

  • Strong customer relationship skills, able to quickly build and maintain relationships at different management levels both externally and internally.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • A self-starter, requiring minimal guidance and supervision.

  • Strong team working skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.

  • Fluent in English and an additional language preferable.

  • Typically qualified to postgraduate level or equivalent in business discipline.

  • Proficiency in MS office tools
