Why this job matters

The Manager is responsible for driving and delivering the procurement category strategy and activities in BT’s Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Proc. Business Partnering practice. This role holds strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers to ensure high standards of procurement delivery and continuous value creation.

BT Operates the 2nd largest fleet in the UK with over 30,000 vehicles on the road everyday building or connecting customers to our Networks. This role will be responsible for managing in excess of £300m globally for this category at an exciting time as BT transform its Fleet to EV. The role also includes managing a team of 1 – 2 FTE.

What will the role involve as our Procurement Manager?

• Managing £300m in spend

• Being responsible for creating and driving the Category Strategy for Fleet in conjunction with Internal Stakeholders

• Assisting on delivering BT’s sustainability agenda as BT transforms towards EV

• Engaging with Business stakeholders to deliver on targets

• Managing a team of 1-2 FTE

What are we looking for in our Procurement Manager? You may have a variety of the below;

• Experience of delivering against targets as a Category Manager/Procurement Manager

• Experience in managing a Fleet category, experience in changing a fleet to EV would be advantageous.

• The ability to lead and work autonomously under your own direction and collaborate with others
