In the Services Procurement Team at BT Sourced, your impact will be substantial. You are part of a team that manages over EUR 2.3 billion of BT Group's expenditure, spanning critical areas such as Facilities Management, Energy, Marketing, Professional Services, Resourcing, Fleet, and Logistics. What you’ll be doing

This role offers a unique opportunity to blend strategic insight with marketing acumen, playing a key part in shaping our marketing efforts and strategies. It's a position where interaction with some of the most creative and innovative minds in the industry is a daily occurrence. If you have a passion for driving change, influencing key marketing decisions, and steering the procurement processes that empower a leading brand, this role is tailor-made for you.

  • Strategic Marketing Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with BT's marketing goals, ensuring that our marketing investments deliver optimal value and impact.

  • Supplier Relationships and Innovation: Foster strong relationships with a diverse range of suppliers, from traditional marketing agencies to digital innovators. Your role will involve not just negotiating contracts but also inspiring our partners to think creatively and push boundaries.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with BT's marketing teams to understand their needs and challenges. You will be the bridge that connects procurement with marketing, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of objectives.

  • Market Trend Analysis and Adaptation: Keep a finger on the pulse of the latest marketing trends and technologies. Use this knowledge to inform procurement decisions and keep BT ahead of the curve.

The skills you'll need

  • Proven track record in managing marketing procurement for a large brand, or coming from a marketing background, with a flair for strategic thinking and negotiation

  • Specific knowledge of market research and marketing technology would be an advantage

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to lead initiatives, influence decisions, and build strong professional relationships

  • Passion for understanding and contributing to business strategies, with a keen interest in industry trends and innovations
