Why this role matters
As a Change management professional, to support on specific change deliverables to the capabilities of BNO’s project management teams, regional deployment teams, and change leaders to the end of successfully implementing change initiatives/ programmes across our Fibre and Network Delivery unit. (FND)
What you'll be doing
Establish cohesive, credible, and compelling storytelling about the Transformation journey, end states, and roadmap for all audiences.
Engage, secure buy-in, mobilise and inform FND stakeholders from senior level down to audience-specific.
Engage with consultancies and teams across Openreach to ensure abreast of and alignment with Openreach’s people and cultural roadmap and organisational development.
Support with the provision of thought leadership on communication strategies and methods to drive engagement and ensure change lands successfully.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers in digital media, multimedia and web design, event production, printers, performers/speakers, and identity collateral production.
Standardise delivery of BNO comms, engagement and feedback. Define, set and drive standards for usage of and access to internal and external channels and visual identities.
Own relationships with comms and marketing teams across Openreach to ensure seamless integrated delivery of comms across the org.
Track KPIs on comms performance, response rates, and progress against communications strategy. Report regularly to senior management, providing insight and translating into actionable delivery plans.
Improve effectiveness. Gather and monitor measures from across BNO and compile into single survey to inform People and Change strategy.

Corporate communications background
Good Leadership ability to lead, guide and consult skilled project and operational teams.
Good ability to challenge, influence, negotiate and innovate at a senior (head of) level– and rapidly build trust with key stakeholders.
Strong Analytical and structured approach with first class critical thinking.
A good understanding of change governance and the ability to deliver change across a large organisation.
Ability to communicate complex problems/ solutions in an articulate manner, using data to support your argument and influence senior management thinking.
Understanding of current business, commercial and industry objectives and trends.
Capable of dealing with ambiguity and translating into business requirements and actions

The Fibre and Network Delivery business unit is responsible for the delivery of all network build programmes and contracts across Openreach, playing an essential role in building Britain’s connected future. This team builds the infrastructure that our CPs serve their customers from, that the Government looks to invest in (BDUK, SEP, Universal Broadband Coverage heavily covered in all major party manifestos) and that the UK relies on, as well as delivers business and customer contracts on a daily basis. The unit also delivers and maintains fibre based Ethernet and Dark Fibre services to public (schools, hospital, and defence), CP fixed and mobile networks and large corporate customers everywhere across the UK.
