This role is part of the GES Security team, providing end to end security for GES and its wider customer base. It helps BT manage its contractual security obligations and contributes to the protection of brand and reputation.

Key Purposes:

  • Supporting GES Operational Security and Service Delivery Teams

  • Supporting Resourcing activities

What you'll be doing

  • Operational management of Government Clearance for GES role holders, working with the business and with Government agency customers to obtain successful clearance. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders and developing relationships with our customers personnel Security leads

  • You will leading on identifying clearance sponsorship across all projects and practices in GES

  • Working with individuals to ensure all vetting paperwork is done correctly and in a timely manner

  • Working with the vetting authorities getting applications onto their systems

  • Assisting with on-boarding new joiners and security briefings and de-briefs

  • Assisting with obtaining secure IT network access where appropriate

  • You will support the Resource manager with ongoing resourcing needs including but not exclusive of advising of new applications, assisting with co-ordination of recruitment trackers, and working with new joiners and BT Recruitment to successfully on-board into GES. Assisting with the Graduate and Apprentice programmes and recruitment, including providing on siteassistance during BT Graduate Induction week

Ensuring that GES Security and resourcing targets are achieved through own area of responsibilities.

We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Relevant administration experience.

  • A background in data communications, with proficient computer skills.

  • Effective communicator, including verbal, report writing and presentation skills.

  • Can co-ordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • D ue to the nature of the work our team undertakes, you’ll need to be security cleared at DV level to be able to join us. This means you’ll need to meet our residency criteria*
