Why this role matters

You will act as an initial single point of contact for BT Revenue Assurance by managing key projects in the team and supporting Openreach lines of Business. These programmes include – Controls Coverage Enhancement, Managing Revenue Opportunity Pipeline, Change Management, Risk Management and ensure that the CU/CFU is SOX compliant based on the controls in place.

What you'll be doing

Project Management:

• Review and Identify new propositions and changes impacting RA and CU/CFU P&L (strategic in scope, small change not in scope, not impacted)

• RA Communication - Provide notifications of new propositions impacting RA to RA Management/SME’s

• CU/CFU Share-site - Update Change management share-site with confirmed impacts via task flows

• CU/CFU Change Board – Weekly review and approval meeting

• CU/CFU Stage Gate – Approval Forum for Strategic Projects

• Engagement - Kick start initial engagement with Project Teams/RA SMES for detailed impact assessments

Risk Management:

• Create & manage RA’s Risk management framework

• Calculate and assess RA risk and impact and drive mitigation plans across the team

• Liaise with Group & CU/CFU regarding risk mitigation plans and priorities

• Promote awareness of Risk Management across Revenue Assurance


• Work with Group Internal Audit to provide financial monthly financial SOX reports for Group Internal Audit and External Auditors

• Assist in positioning financial performance on SOX directives

• Liaise with CU/CFU to document and present operational updates and progress to drive billing accuracy within BT

• Act as single point of contact for all Compliance & undertakings risks within RA

Management of Strategic Projects:

• End-to-end design influence – Concept & Design Workshops

• Risk Assessment – Risk & Mitigation Assessment

• Requirements - Service Design, EIP, Commercial Agreement, Internal/External Data-feeds, SRAP and BT Development

• DI & RA Requirement Alignment – Align, Remove Duplication of Requirements/Costs

• ROMS – Cost Assessment, Validation of Requirements in STORM

• Compliance to PRD (correct allocation of RA requirements across Product, Route to Market, L2C, Billing, T2R, MIS)

• Tactical Assurance – Highlight Tactical Assurance Opportunities for RA

• Testing – Testing Strategy, Results, Management of Non-Compliant Testing Issues

• Lifecycle Management – Change in Scope, Risks, New Requirements, CR Process, New Issues, Weekly Project Updates & Calls

• Continuous Improvement – Operational C2M/ Business Improvement, CPMG Partner/Senior Quarterly Updates

• End to End Assurance – Transition monitoring into L2C
