As part of BT’s Corporate Mid-Market division, you will be responsible for account managing a defined base of Corporate customers with a view to building great customer relationships and growing BT spend. BT recognise a sizable opportunity within the Corporate Mid- Market space, and so have developed an organisational structure to help aid and support this ambition for growth. Within this team, you will be leveraging the relationships we have with our customers to increase BT’s wallet share by exploring how we can best serve our customers ever-expanding telecommunications needs. Our aim is to hire the best talent for our Sales teams and we will always select the best candidates for the role. However we are also passionate about ensuring we have a diverse population across BPS, so we would be particularly interested in hearing from female candidates.
We’ve invested heavily in our technologies and launched new products to take to market such as the Cloud Voice and IP Voice propositions; and have accelerated our Mobile service offerings with 4G access and unlimited Wi-Fi capability, driven by the joining together of EE with BT. It’s important in today’s changing world for our customers to communicate effortlessly and instantly at any time and at any location, so combining the strength of the BT network with the 4G capability of EE, creates a truly compelling story to take to market.
Of course, we’ll provide comprehensive training to successful candidates where you’ll be given the skills to showcase the full range of BT product and services to help us retain and acquire new customers.
What you'll be doing
As a Desk-based Account Manager, you’ll showcase interpersonal skills, business understanding and a positive attitude to support the continued success of our Account Managers. With sound attention to detail, and an informed understanding of our portfolio, you’ll play a valuable part in helping us build our business – and learn a great deal at the same time. Here you’ll
Build relationships with key decision makers within your Mid-Market base of customers
Identify opportunities for growth to drive pipeline and sales
Defend contracts to maintain customer spend, in particular Mobile revenues
Provide comprehensive knowledge on products within your set portfolio
Engage with your wider virtual team to progress opportunities through to closure
