Indirect Alliances Manager, Portfolio and Customer Success

Why this role matters

The transformation of indirect sales (through Telco and SI channel partners) is a key strategic priority for BT’s Global division. We have focused our direct sales force on 800 MNC customers, so indirect channels fill a critical, complementary role in driving volumes onto our networks over a wider end-customer base. We have an ambitious indirect growth plan, which is critical to the overall financial targets of our business. This role will be key in ensuring our solution portfolio is optimised for indirect distribution, so that we deliver on our transformation ambition.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaises with Product Managers to develop indirect strategy for their products

  • Inputs to DS propositions to help define Go to Market for indirect

  • Identifies indirect portfolio distribution opportunities & priorities

  • Provides governance around the overall business case for the indirect portfolio

  • Key member of the Indirect Allaince team and support for associated targets

  • Ensures that the programmes (e.g. CPaaS) required for the transitions to be successful are delivered on time and to requirements as the indirect channel transition is dependent on these

  • Recommends indirect channel sales strategy and considerations to Front Office

  • Supports Front Office in profiling potential new channel partners

  • Recommends indirect channel partner segmentation, prioritisation, and targeting

  • Excellent account management ability

  • Strong awareness of BT technologies, associated markets, and relevant competitors

  • Ability to develop business cases
