Personally design, build and manage Service Operations as part of a highly skilled Support Team

What you'll be doing
Support the Group Engineering Services organisation by operating internal and customer networks, platforms and systems in support of ourselves and special customers. Deliver and operate these services within agreed performance standards and contractual agreements whilst operating within agreed timescales and budgets. Additionally provide input into Service Design and Service Transitions using skillsets where applicable.
Service Delivery & Transition – A GES Service Management team that supports the overall BT GES, BT Security and Global Services strategy
Improving customer experience – By delivering repair, provision and service availability performance, continually improving and supporting the delivery of great Net Promoter Score outcomes
Working within Service Operations to ensure that budgets are built year on year based on understanding improvements and forecasting business expectations.
Profitability - Deliver and operate within service budgets (manpower, materials and circuits) and work tirelessly to deliver highly efficient services which meet our customer needs and maintain a highly utilised team

Managerial Experience within the IT Industry
To form part of an out of hours on call rota
ITIL Foundation V3 qualified. Ideally ITIL Service Operations and ITIL Service Transition
Degree Educated or equivalent Industry experience
Windows OS domain administration knowledge
Work towards Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of VMware administration and support.
Knowledge of Linux administration and support (RedHat and CentOS preferable)
Administration and support of NAS devices (netapp preferable)
Must hold and retain Developed Vetting STRAP clearance.
DV clearance required before they can start the role.
