The role holder will be accountable for specific customer contract(s), for ensuring that all aspects of an the customer security service or solution are managed end-to-end, from lead to cash, delivery to in-life change.

They will lead all client engagement for Security Enterprise on existing contracts, and will be responsible for optimising Security P&L through deep insight into customer needs and in-life contract performance.

They will maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relationships, and ensure the customers’ stated business benefits are realised alongside BT’s requirement to deliver secure, effective, efficient, resilient and robust customer solutions.

The role holder will also be responsible for the ongoing oversight of the customers’ security services, providing advocacy for and engagement into various BT delivery teams as required, and ensuring the exploitation of systems and technology to deliver business and cost transformation aligned to business strategy and to deliver efficient and effective customer solutions.

Through the customer insight, knowledge and trusted advisor status the role holder will look to drive business develoment and increase contract value thorugh the identification and enablement of new security opportunities.

  • To provide a single interface into both the Customer and the BT Account Team for all Security perspectives

  • Overall accountability for all aspects of Security Enterprise engagement with existing customers or customer groups

  • Accountable for increased BT Security driven revenue across specific customer/s base

  • ‘At the table’ with the BTGS account leadership team (CP/CDD/GSL) to interlock with all aspects of on-going account

  • development and integrated delivery

  • Develops successful and sustainable long term Security business relationships with customers

  • Accountability for all resource forecasting and management through the BRF process and contract change control.

  • Accountable for identification and implementation of on-going contract efficiencies

  • Develops successful and sustainable long term Security business relationships with customers

  • Accountable for defining and executing Security Enterprise strategy in respect to existing customers

  • To maintain an oversight of key technology transformation programmes, monitoring performance against business

  • Objectives, responding and recommending actions to trends and taking executive action

  • To oversee security customer experience, business opportunities, relationships, and contract management delivery

  • For the largest customers, leading an in-life security team

  • To contribute to the Security Enterprise strategy and transformation, by taking account of the collective voice of our customers

  • Coaching and developing the next generation of CSMs

  • To challenge the status quo and break new ground in the pursuit of commercial advantage

  • To seek innovative ways to expand the business scope of new and existing contracts.

  • Maintain visibility and understanding of the account P&L

  • Ensure that all required resourcing is reflected in the account demand file and reflected in BT Security BRF
